It's been like a month

We haven't updated this thing in a month... luckilly not much has happenned. We've played 2 gigs, and that's about it really. The first gig was with The Dead City Stereo and OK Pilot. We played sober for a change, and actually played pretty good. However, we were TOTALLY schooled by Ok Pilot, who were fucking amazing, not to mention The Dead City Stereo who were rad enough to let us use their heads and stuff. Super nice guys. The Second gig was last Thursday in Bridgend. It was our first gig outside Swansea, which was nice. However the 3 for £5 drinks offer was the death of us. Anyways, we played our set, couldn't hear a thing, we were drunk, and from where I was standing I thought we were awful. However, people seemed to like us. Either they were humouring us or we've finally mastered playing drunk. "Huzzah!" as our good friend Tris would say. After the show, in typical City That Day fashion, BT got extremely wankered, fell asleep on his bass cab and later on that night got us thrown out of Tesco. Sweet times.
Our friend Tom is recording a demo with us VERY soon. Expect that up on the myspace or whatever...
Oh, and Nickys house gig has been pushed back till the end of June. Untill then, laters.

Posters Ahoy!

As mentioned in our last blog, Trev from The Slowdance was nice enough to ask us to play with the dead city stereo and ok pilot. Well, here's the poster. Designed by the always beautiful Ashley of Gunrack fame. The show should be very fun.
Also, we may be recording a quick demo soon with our friend Tom Evans, just as something to chuck up on myspace or something. We're recording "All my friends are fucking drunks, but so am I", which should be very fun! Expect it up in a week or two.
In other news, I've been listening to waay too much Lemuria latelly. Sheena is my dream woman, she will be mine!
Laters.

Partys Over, I've lost the lid to my Savlon!

So we did an acoustic performance at Nickys House the other day, and it was very very fun. We drank too much, as always, and probably made utter fools of ourselves throughout our set. My only advice to everyone is dont put electric guitar strings on acoustic guitars. It's not big, nor clever! Anyway, we debuted a new song "It's gonna rain (Thank you, Ollie)!" because it seemed to work better on acoustic guitar then "I feel a chant coming on". We also played the Chuck Ragan version of "California Burritos", and if my memory serves correctly "The Devils Taking Names" by Lawrence Arms. Both of which were very very fun. After our set, Myself and our good friend Tris picked up guitars, and probably played "Sink Florida Sink" very badly. Regardless, it was very very fun. Seeing Carsondown play was really fun too. Made me feel like I was 15 again, epic! All in all, a fun time was had. Sure it ended in me getting punched by some meathead on wind st, and Tris puking up outside the office, marks and spencers, and probably other places throughout swansea, but hell, it was fun! We're playing Nickys House again next month. Those who didnt come last time, should come. It was dead fun!

We have more gigs aswell. Our next gig is with the awesome OK Pilot and The Dead City Stereo in Coyote bar in Swansea. That is going down on the 27th of this month. We are stoked. You should be too!
see you soon!

We has flavour

Hi. So we played The New York the other day, we were wasted, messed up a lot, and it was very very fun! I couldn't hear a thing I was playing or singing, it was rad!
Anyways, we're playing a house show on Saturday at our good friend Nicky Scott Howells (who plays in The Shortcuts, and used to play in Better Dead Than You before they went crap) new house by Joes Ice Cream on St Helens road. I think that's the closest we're allowed to get to posting his address on the net, but yeah, if you wanna come chuck me an email gavinpryce87@hotmail.com, it should be very very fun!
Next Tuesday we're playing with Dynamite Dreams in Newport, which is pretty cool. It's a day before they shoot off on tour with the amazing Loved Ones, and a day before Morgs photography exam (probably a bad idea to play a gig eh?)
Our recording has had to pushed back to July sometime, because of exams and stuff in May, and Jon going away for a month in June. I guess that's cool because we can "advance" our songs, if you will.
That's all. Oh, and At The Blahdy Movies are twats and have a god awful band name...

Yo!

Hey. For all you anti-myspacers, here we have a new website, or blog, or whatever. Sweet times. For those who don't know, we are a band. We play, or like to think we play Melodic Hardcore Punk rock. We drink a lot, and shout down mics pretty loud, that's pretty much how we roll. I don't really know what else I should say, I'll try and edit this every once in a while. Here's some info's about our shows we have lined up

15th April - New York Pub, Swansea
with Filthy Habits, On Flight Movie, and The Mephs

2nd May - Nickys house, Swansea
with The Shortcuts

5th June - Tollhouse/Bar Inc, Bridgend
with Harbour, and The Abortions

Come on down!
